From his background in computing and software to owning the Dallas Mavericks, Landmark Theaters and Magnolia Pictures, to publishing an e-book, Mark Cuban has built a brand spanning diverse industries and garnering strong advocates. As evidence, Cuban started his first company, MicroSolutions, with the support of customers he met as a salesperson for a previous employer. True to his brand of motivation and unconventional methods (referring to his NBA antics and associated fines) Cuban takes chances and consistently demonstrates his message – “If I can do it, you can do it.” He learns (or donates) from missteps and charges forward to the next undiscovered technology or business venture inspiring supporters that they can do the same.
