Even though the American economy struggles, people are still finding the time and money to travel. Priceline.com, founded by Jay S. Walker, is now the best thing that could happen to frequent travelers. This site allows for people to search for discounted travel related to items such as, airfare and hotel rooms. People are going to more exotic and more expensive places for less. The television commercials are unique and include Priceline.com’s spokesperson William Schatner, helping watchers remember Priceline.com the next time they look to travel. The sites popularity is rising, along with its brand awareness, making Walker an on-the-rise Brand Champion.
